Review, test and IR photos of the Arctic Air Ultra (mini evaporative cube air conditioning)

Buying well and choosing a product or service well means, in addition to being satisfied, consuming less and preserving the planet, it is essential in 2021 to buy better! Also the exchange of information and experiences makes it possible to avoid various scams and crooks. In 2021, it is essential to exchange your experiences of use, positive or negative, because the market for products and services for the consumer has never been so abundant in the history of mankind. Helping to choose better is essential because buying better means buying sustainable!

The relevance of the solutions necessarily depending on the context, do not yield to the temptation of the single thought! :P

[b] Do you take the absurdity of your comparison between these 2 dew points if the humidity of the air condensed from 47 ° C ... all interior walls of houses, colder than 47 ° C, would be constantly under the point of dew and therefore dripping condensation!

The only case where there is condensation of water vapor in a house is when you boil water in the kitchen ...
If I have already given an explanation, I have another simpler one.

The combustion fumes of the oil cooled by the return of the water circuit of a central heating begins to condense at a temperature of 47 ° and less. This means that it contains 100% humidity at this temperature and for the condensation water to restore its latent heat to the floor heating water circuit, the return temperature must not exceed 40 °.
The combustion fumes of the gas contain more water vapor.

In a house, the principle is the same, except that the dew point is around 20 °, 17 gr / m3 of air according to your Molier diagram : Mrgreen:

We do not work on the same enthalpic state !!!

And the one who assimilates the dew point of the superheated steam at 120-150 ° C at the boiler outlet to that of the ambient air is only a puppet ... and the worst thing is that he tries to do the others for fun ... pfff ...

That he chuckles ...

And it will be repugnant since I just measured the COP of the small fan ...

I have 135 grams of evaporated water per hour (measured over 1h + 1h) ... ok we are 700W far from the first "increased" measure but it is still in the 90W of cold ... for 7,5, 12W consumed or a COP of 40 ... for a machine that costs XNUMX € ...

If we add the fan effect and therefore "felt" we can well estimate a 200W "felt cold" and therefore a COP of 27 ...

The 50W Lidl fan that I bought the same day does not give the same feeling of freshness and consumes 6 times more.
So what exactly are you trying to prove ??? That it is necessary to use classical air conditioning of 2kW?

After I totally understand that this can hinder "those who know" and who have always worked with COPs not exceeding the 5-6 for machines consuming hundreds of Watts ... and costing hundreds or thousands of euros installed ... then EDF is not dissatisfied ...

The photos of the tests arrive..but I doubt that it makes you change your mind ... since you know you ...

Start of test at 26,5 ° C

After 2 hours (curtain pulled because kitchen facing west = orange color = room temperature rise> 30 ° C):

Best delta measured: 6,6 ° C ... Here we find the value of the IR thermometer ...

Thermal balance: 1375 - 1110 = 265 g evaporated on 2h either 265 * 2450 / (2 * 3600) = 90 W for 7,5W consumed = 12 of COP just on the evaporation ...

The term "pifométré" that I used qualified a mass balance of combustion made on the go by my apple, Richard Mollier can not actually do much about it,

For the rest, let's drink fresh.

I propose that we stop the bickering about (de) point (s) of dew. Okay.

The concept is good, in my opinion ... if it relates to its power consumption and investment price (attention of the margouillins can sell it on the internet at almost 80-90 € by applying fake specials)

For my part I remain on my initial conclusion: this small fan works better than a conventional fan and I really want to make me a more powerful.

With 2 or 3 large PC windillo and 1 or 2 large ultrasonic fogger (at 1 / 2L per hour), a larger water supply. History of having 300W of cold power in real evaporation ...

Finally we fall back on (old) this subject: heating-insulation / manufacturing-and-a-conditioning-house-so-can-ecolo-t1958.html : Cheesy:

Subject of 2006 which may have inspired the designers of the "cubes" ... who knows?
