This is proof of your reasoning in a vacuum, it's not that much "good news" this extension of nuclear power, nor that people are delighted with it! It's just proof that humanity has eyes bigger than it can stomach, that supply has driven need (not demand) and as with injections, it's not a virtuous approach, and early or later we will pay for it...
