A photo that illustrates the difference between a bare surface and a hay surface:
I find it impressive!
Of course rollers, but who?

It is flat ???
Take advantage of the rains to observe the effect on infiltration (but put on a Kway so as not to catch a cold - the umbrella may be overturned!).

Re: Certainly rolls, but who?
Hello,
Has the soil been worked with the cultivator on the bare land side and not under the hay?pheno37 wrote:A photo that illustrates the difference between a bare surface and a surface under hay: turricues_3.jpg

No stagnation of water on the surface, neither on one side nor the other.
@izentrop:
Damn, but it's of course!
The "bare" part was motocultured in the spring. On the hay side, a first large layer of 20 cm at the end of October 2017 on unworked ground with a recharge in April of about ten cm to compensate for the first layer laid too early. Currently there is 2-3 cm left.
