good that's the thing
you send me your dimensions, we prepare the mold and we do manufacturing tests, depending on the size you give me we can either make you several molds in the same plate, or several dimensions if you are interested

after we will make resin casting tests for mass production and strength and we can estimate the cost

in any case, I will make you a short video of how to do it

so here I await the fruit of your reflection on the dimensions

OK, thanks.....

I think about the thing and I make you pass that in MP.

No problem

if not are you fixed on the form, I did not ask the question but we could perhaps make you square things instead of round : Mrgreen:

No the shape I don't care.

You have to do what's simplest (and most economical) for the machine.

A central well of about 4cm
"Moat" about 4cm wide also
And the edges of "moat" as fine / sharp as possible, ie not rounded at all.
Depth of "moat" about 3cm

Already make a prototype in this style

After there would be a little "trick" is an outer rim UNDER the donut (thickness style 1 or 2mm) which would protrude by about 2cm just to properly tan the donuts on the ground and to deter the caving slugs : Mrgreen:

Which would make us in the end a height of about 5 cm outside including 3cm of moat

that, it will not be possible, or then you have to make 2 pieces
if not yes I try to make you a prototype, already the mold to postform, after for the resin must I order, or see if a friend in the lab can do without a little for the test
OK

Can't you do this in one piece?

Well, it's not a problem.

Already a simple square or round donut mold doesn't matter and we'll see later

if I understood correctly you would like the mold to be placed on a kind of plate with a hole in the center? or the bottom of the hole like a bucket (the place where you sow)?

No.

You take the classic mold (round or square whatever)

At the bottom, as an extension of the outer edges, you add 2cm to it, which acts as an anti-slug "wall" which is stuck in the ground.

In section if you make a square mold it will be a little "H" shaped

In case I will make you a drawing

For the "rim", wouldn't it be easier to make a second part, which "clips" into the first? It doesn't need to hold tight, I think ...
