Hello,

During the day, I met beauregard plants with native nurseries and Pepiniere akebia, which both offer rare plants to discover and at affordable prices. Including the pecan tree and akebia triloba.

Thank you for the info....

These are not fruit trees but we recovered about fifteen Leyland cypresses of 2m from a nice and cheap producer ....

We're going to plant them tomorrow.

Any special advice?

For the sake of fairness in relation to the others to which we have put the internet link, I add them:

[I think it's cool, these passionate people; whose "commercial" life is not always easy, next to the "big cavalry" that are the garden centers - even those which display their "green" side]

Thank you Didier,
Indeed they deserve it, I often post on the phone and quotes like links do not work.

For cypresses, at my place it is never again, we have a hedge already established against the road and I do not like to maintain it, as it is older the random maintenance, it is 2,5m wide and I have to bridle it to keep going.
In your large piece of land, at the very bottom against the wood, tighten it well to protect the fauna, it is in isolation a beautiful tree.

Hello,
I see that there is a lot of talk about nursery trees.
I will certainly be Raba Joy but I find that one of the most interesting aspects of the orchard is the "making" of the trees.
I know ... it's less lazy but what's exciting.

the use of hay saves time so I think that in most cases, fruit is obtained as quickly with an aerial cuttings as with a bare root plant planted in plowed soil.

the aerial cutting is the foot. and it costs almost nothing.
just a little deal with the owner of the starting plant.

A cutting is a "piece" of plant that has been detached from the mother plant and placed in the ground (or water) ...

Layering is to put a branch in the earth, so that it takes root while still being "supplied" by the mother plant ... We cut afterwards.

Many "bushy" do this naturally ... It is their favorite mode of propagation / dissemination ...
