car charger repair LACME 200-2

by karadocpro » 03/07/15, 15:28

Hello,

I am new to the forum and I am trying to repair my LACME VAR 200-2 charger, indeed it has not worked for a few days.

I opened it and discovered 2 components that melted. I would like to replace them, unfortunately, we can no longer read the references on the components.
Here is a photo of the components that made the soul.

If anyone can tell me which components can be used to replace them, that would be a great help to me.
Thank you in advance.

I can not find the doc for this model.

Nobody can enlighten me a little?
On the big dark blue component, we can still read 1uF and 400w, and on the smallest light blue we read badly but I think it was written "DNR ... 31k" but I'm not sure.

Great! Thank you for the answer!
For the small "varistor" component it is ordered.
For the dark blue a little bigger, do you think that if I order this, will it be ok?

You can also recover parts on an old PC power supply
Check your diode bridge : Mrgreen:

Hello!
that's it I finally received my order! I replaced the 2 defective components, and everything works normally, I'm super happy! thank you the shadow for your precious help ;-) without you this charger would have gone to the dump, and there, it seems to me left to charge many more batteries.
