How unions make the Act. C in air

C in Thursday's tune:

How unions make the law

Discussions between employers and unions to try to modernize social dialogue are launched. But the task promises to be arduous and the recent statements by Manuel Valls, on the need to review the terms of unemployment compensation, have thrown a chill. The debate around our unemployment insurance system has been growing steadily ever since. The president of Medef, Pierre Gattaz, called this Tuesday October 14, the unions to reopen the file again in January. An idea that does not reach union organizations.

For them, it is "out of the question" to call into question the convention which has just entered into force. "The rights of the unemployed will not be called into question in the months and years to come, because unemployment is increasing," Laurent Berger said in recent days. When the number one of the CGT, Thierry Lepaon, estimated him that it is "one of these provocations which take place on behalf of the government and the employers against the world of work". The "responsibility" of the executive "is not to stigmatize the population" but "to find lasting solutions", declared the leader of the central union.

In this context, the CGT launched a call for mobilization on Thursday to denounce the 2015 Social Security budget project, the examination of which is starting in the National Assembly. A first day of national action in this return which saw 142 processions parades through France and 20 people pounding the pavement in Paris for the "defense of the Security".
