It is clear that when we listen to certain speeches on TV, we are well at the level of religious dogma when it speaks of growth.

Advertising, I was immersed in all my childhood, yet I have not become a compulsive shopper, sometimes I feel like an alien in the face of certain totally illogical consumerist behaviors. Today I skip it when possible, otherwise I don't pay attention.

Was I born with a particular resistance to external influences or did I develop this resistance and ended up understanding that advertising does not want our happiness but precisely the opposite, I do not know.

314 million Americans

by vanvan » 25/10/13, 20:17

I agree that 42 million is a lot. That said, the Americans are still 314 million it seems to me, so we are rather at 13,5%.
Which is too much, I think we agree ...

Indeed ... but here http://youtu.be/iHWptzNk6xk?t=8m25s Pierre Jovanovic speaks well of nearly 50 million Americans for 23 million households under food aid (in the background we see the figure 42 million for 2012). He speaks of a proportion of 1/4 ... I did not tilt that the approximation was a bit large ...

:?:

there are a little over 300 million tazus. 25% would be 75 million.

There is something like a bug in your statement.

It is so true what Sen no sen wrote that people demand, beg, implore the God of consumption to leave the shops open on days of rest and why not 24 hours a day.

United States = tazus.

I never say "Americans" for the inhabitants of the United States of America. : Idea:
