Act to improve our world

by vivelebonheur » 14/04/12, 00:06

Hello everyone.

As you probably know, there are many problems on Earth.

Here are some examples:

- Global warming
- Destruction of corals
- Sea level rise
- pollution
- Deforestation
- Natural disasters (floods, cyclones, large fires, etc.)
- Climate deregulation
- Pesticides, chemicals used in large quantities
- Huge waste, planned obsolescence, overwrapping, etc.
- Poverty in the world (for example: 34000 children die every day from hunger or preventable diseases, 50% of the world population lives on less than 2 dollars a day).
- Drinking water is becoming increasingly scarce
- Many people around the world do not have access to healthcare
- Many people around the world do not have access to education
- Inequalities, injustices, etc.
- Child labor
- Wars that kill a phenomenal number of people
- Many endangered animal species
- Many animals expelled from their places of life (to make room for example for intensive cultivation of palm oil)
- Billions of animals bred industrially in horrible conditions
- 1% of the world's population owns 40% of the world's wealth
- Monetary creation held by banks (gigantic and exponential debt)
- Etc.

One point common to all these problems: the person responsible is Man.

So what do we do about this countless number of problems?

I personally think that we must act !!!

There are many small actions to carry out simply: get informed, inform, recycle, volunteer in associations, join movements, political fight, blood donation, pick up papers in nature, consume local products and products in good conditions, sign petitions, etc.

There is also another way to act effectively: it is to unite all against these problems.

The union has already started through the Zeitgeist movement. It is an international movement (1 members worldwide) which aims, among other things, to explain why our system is bad, to inform the population about the different problems on Earth, to propose solutions to move from this harmful system to a fairer and more equitable system for all living beings on Earth, to act through numerous projects and actions (at local, regional, national, international level), to move from this system destructive to a fairer and more equitable system for all, etc.

If like us, you would like the world to improve then we suggest that you learn about the Zeitgeist movement (home page of the French site: http://mouvement-zeitgeist.fr ; international website home page: http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/ )

Two very interesting films by Peter Joseph express very well the ideas of this movement: "Zeitgeist Addendum" and "Zeitgeist Moving Forward" accessible for example by this link: http://presentation.mouvement-zeitgeist.fr/films.html

If we unite for a better world, the task will be much easier.

PS: yes, I advertise !!! But I don't advertise the all-new model of a cell phone, advertise a major perfume brand, or advertise the new movie that just hit theaters. I am only advertising a movement made up of thousands of individuals who are trying to improve living conditions on Earth for the well being of all living things and the Earth.

"When a man begins to dream, it is only a dream, but when several begin to dream together, it is the beginning of a reality."

LIVE THE HAPPINESS AND LIVE THE LIBERTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, you got it all. There are 5 or 6 billion too many!

I have already proposed a collective suicide campaign (my proposal for anthropophagia does not please, because I want to eat the less fat). I set an example: alcohol kills! ( slowly :D )

Thank you for your answers and thank you for the links.

It's great that a Topic talks about the Zeitgeist movement.

Yes, I already know the videos (which I love) of MR Mondialisation.

It is true that I love a lot of subjects on this forum :)

We are at a time when it is often a question of "seeking happiness" (noted "research"), as if in the end it was only a form of fantasy!

Still, to find it, you have to know where to look for it and (for) what to look for ...

Easy: happiness at the moment is, of course, consumption *!

: Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

"I consume therefore I am happy!"

"Consume, be happy ..."

etc., etc... :|

* Ah unless it is consomlation !! : Cheesy:

Happiness has never created as many unhappy people as since society considers it the goal of all achievement to find it.
I am not trying to be happy, it is a vain and useless quest.

I try to be satisfied in my everyday life, and my time, I am rather satisfied : Mrgreen:

As said in the video above: if we are not already unhappy it's already not bad ...

Only in our growth societies ... there are many consumerist temptations ... since we have always been told that happiness is pocession ...

I am personally much less happy when I "consume" than a few years ago ...

What matters is not the act of purchase but the satisfaction it provides, right? I don't think I'm an isolated case ...

To develop!
