Regarding the window sill, I do not like aluminum plates.

On the other hand I am looking for a store if possible Belgian which simulates stones for windows by a trompe l'oeil in polystyrene

I saw things like this http://www.supplierlist.com/b2b/afawall/index.htm

the following video shows how americans are doing for their beautiful home.

had to think about it and its removes thermal bridges and its solves the thickness of the insulation with the window sill and aesthetically it's much more chic than a metal plate. [/ url]

I bring this post out of the dungeons.

Last year, we called on an auditor from the Walloon region for a precise analysis of the building. The observation is that many positions can be improved. (The ones you had previously mentioned on the forum ).

Here is the progress to date

our major constraint was funding. Unfortunately, we cannot act on all the items recommended by our auditor.

However, we favored the exterior insulation of the building
1) Cladding of the building on the main envelope on a 12 cm insulation.

2) plaster 6cm on the lower envelope of the building

3) insulating injection in the ventilated vacuum of the facade will be done in 2 weeks.

Unfortunately, we could not isolate the northern part of the building because we cannot finance it at the moment. In addition, I have to apply for a permit with my neighbors and the property repurchase on 15 cm, it becomes much more complicated. We dropped it. :|

So here is on the basis of your precious advice here and there we started to insulate the building.
