Good -30C the other night and -26 currently at 23:20, should touch near -30C still early tomorrow morning, good I encourage myself because we only have 30 cm of snow on the ground and I do not remember having seen this here for at least 20 years but winter is not over and we sometimes have surprises.

I took advantage of it yesterday to put films on the windows of the house to insulate to the max! 8)

it's funny I talk to you about growth, and you tell me about the heating of the house ...
I speak of having to build more and more solar panels, of looking for lithium in quantities that are increasing exponentially, of the automotive market (electric and / or thermal and / or something else) which "must" also grow according to this curve etc ...

I allow myself to add this link (a second time) to a course that amazed and passionate me about the problems and the links between the environment, economy and energy:
http://jcbonsai.free.fr/cc/
in English OV:
http://www.chrismartenson.com/crashcourse

Clearly after (long) reading this site, it seems obvious that green or red or blue growth is not a viable state.

no ?

Uh no no is is not "thoroughly for green growth" ... we defend it if possible at the expense of "gray" growth (do not look for the definition I just invented: growth based on fossils) but not whatever the price!!

I did not see the videos just flew over (a subtitling of the video it would have been more interesting than a text translation apart ... I know it's easy to say ...) but according to the titles ( making money, debts ...) it seems to me that we are defending the same societal values and economic / ecological / energy links ...

Here are some links and articles from the site to convince you:

1) Operation of the world of hyper consumption (VOST video): https://www.econologie.com/societes-de-c ... -4124.html

2) Making money (debt):
https://www.econologie.com/systeme-monet ... -3939.html
https://www.econologie.com/forums/qui-fabriq ... t6273.html

3) Inflation and the monetary scam:

https://www.econologie.com/l-escroquerie ... -2707.html
https://www.econologie.com/l-escroquerie ... -2708.html

4) Energy intensity
https://www.econologie.com/forums/petrole-et ... t5022.html
https://www.econologie.com/l-intensite-e ... e-446.html

5) GDP growth and Oil and energy prices:
https://www.econologie.com/croissance-pi ... -4090.html

...etc., etc...

In fact the "crash course" video is an econology course ... no more no less! 8) 8)

I mean: econology is interested in the same problems ...We will not solve "the" ecological problem without taking an interest in the economic system and above all by taking it into account!

I watched the video on debt money yesterday, and went through some of the forums econology, indeed we are not so far from what there is in the crash course, that said the crash course seems to me to make a more complete analysis of the situation, not stopping at the question of the creation of money and fossil fuels, there is a perspective on the entire growth system and its impact on all the planet's resources.

I think it deserves more than an overview, personally I read and reread the 20 pages, it's really impressive as a level of synthesis (even if we are not necessarily agree with everything at 100%). I have not yet found that on this site however excellent from what I see :P

Well this is, if I remember correctly, what is explained in an educational way in this video: https://www.econologie.com/societes-de-c ... -4124.html

Debate here: https://www.econologie.com/forums/la-crise-n ... t8193.html

Ben forum is so "vast" (and yet it is a small forum but there is a lot of diversity in ideas and subjects) that you get lost quickly ... even regulars and moderators ...

But if you want to promote the message and the video "crash course" I strongly encourage you to make it a new subject, it will be more visible than the message in this subject of eco pies ... : Idea:

To do in this forum : https://www.econologie.com/forums/economie-e ... -vf46.html

Alright, I do : Cheesy:

Just one last answer on this topic (after that should be covered in my new topic 8) ), I think that the point of view of the author of the crash course is still slightly different from that mainly represented here, which also makes the point of the thing.

Super we continue there. I wonder if I'm not going to post it like ...

Yes the point of view is surely "slightly" different (and fortunately) but from what I have skimmed over the basic message on the functioning of the "system" is the same I will copy / paste the previous links in the other subject.
