Hello and thank you for all this info! I submit here my basic idea for our installation: 6 mono panels 190Wp MPPT regulator 4 open lead batteries 6V 400Ah 2000W converter the needs, as a reminder, are 1200Wh / d, on the ground, without shadow ... (no tracker ) could you tell me ...

Thank you for your lights!

What about "mixed" connections, serial and parallel type, as presented on this page: http://www.solariflex.com/116-batteries-plomb-rolls (put into practice? interests? disadvantages?)

Thank you

So I immediately reassure chatelot16, I do not plan to shoot batteries in series ;-) nor pollute all year round with my generator! I heard your point of view, with which I agree 100%! I thank you. @ swallowtail: thank you for all this info! I have already calculated a lot ...

So, what compromise can I find, knowing that I need at least 400Ah and that I do not want to put 3000euros just in the batteries ...? 2V batteries are ideal in terms of amperage but it is very expensive to reach 24V in series .... and the rare batteries that do ...

Hello

so if I understood everything:

- 2 batteries (1Ah 200Ah and 1Ah 220) in 24V (each) mounted in parallel give me 420Ah in 24V!?
- 3 200Ah batteries in 12V give me 200Ah series but I have 36V on arrival!?

That's right ?

Thank you

Hello concretely, if I put 2 12V batteries in series ... (200Ah) ... - do I have 24V output? - what do you mean by "the more we put in series, the more we are dependent on the weaker battery as well as the problems inherent in the balancing of the voltages"? what kinds of problems ...
