Are we allowed to go to the Rifle too? we are in the same right right?
All this to leave money in accounts without ever using it, one of its days will have to tell them to do it We are pushed into consumption, should we do the same for them, right? Or they have too much to do it, in all the countries I know who would be very happy to use it ...
I don't understand why we let all this happen instead of looking for alternatives, the stakes are the same, the energy supply. Especially that those who have the money to accelerate its changes do not care about a fart ...

The problem is not there. It takes 10 to 15 years for a "project" to result in significant production.
What Oilers Are Looking For Is To Lower Production to raise the price of a barrel. So it's not tomorrow the day before ..
The perverse effect is that suddenly, other energies become profitable, such as solar thermal power stations and the transport of current on buried high-voltage lines made of superconductive materials.

In the long term, the price in € of the current coming from a solar thermal power station is 7 cent./kWh.
A large area like France taken from deserts or seas will be enough to cover all the planet's energy needs (including replacing fossil fuels with electricity wherever it is feasible and profitable ...).

What is not tomorrow the day before?
And then you know, solar, investors are not yet used to it, it requires that they change their thinking habits, and there are only promises of greater profits that can make them evolve.

Oulah! Fortunately, it has already started and it is very interesting:

The big red square above in the desert is the area needed to cover the world's energy needs. All that is most feasible with today's technologies!
The future is full of hope.

Ugh! What about methane?
Very good remark Bahm. It is precisely the cornerstone of this challenge. This data is included in the outlook. See the link on wiki.
It should be added that this project is widely distributed geographically, the aim is also sharing and security of supply. If a state does not play the game, it will not jeopardize the whole.

Hoping that it will succeed and that it will benefit all countries, developed and underdeveloped, without generating conflicts.
