In a few hours we will "celebrate the 20th anniversary" of Chernobyl ....

I am currently preparing a small dossier on the question but to update your knowledge on the question, you can read these pages:

The construction of the arch is expected to engulf nearly $ 800 million. The G7 member countries, the European Commission and Ukraine will be the main donors for this "pharaonic" project. But avoiding a second Chernobyl is priceless ...

How many solar collectors, wind turbines, bioclimatic houses, and all non-polluting and non-radioactive solutions could be built with this colossal sum. : Evil:

Only when he has brought down the last tree, the last river contaminated, the last fish caught that man will realize that money is not edible (Indian MOHAWK).

Good considering the excellent file of Futura Science (still happy considering their sponsor which is the CEA) I will abandon this project of Chernobyl file ...
Let's focus on the future ... and the alternatives!

Good evening

a little message here, because despite 1 day late, the accident is already 24 years old, it seems far away, yet some of the contaminated places will remain so for a long time.

Thank you coucou789456 for this reminder.

Indeed, it seems far away the time when environmentalists feared a new accident of this type and mobilized against nuclear power.

Today Chernobyl is a distant memory, a mishap.

Earthlings sleep in peace, nuclear power is perfectly under control ...

Just 24 years ago, the USSR began to understand that the unimaginable had come true and that it was necessary to evacuate for centuries, all the surroundings, sparsely populated nevertheless, of Chernobyl !!
How long will this region remain unlivable for us?
The released plutonium (per ton) has a half-life of 30000yearsS !!

The disasters of others do not serve us as a lesson since we continue with strength in nuclear power plants and believe in our total and absolute infallibility of never having such a serious accident !!
But man is not infallible to ensure security and therefore we take ourselves for god, until the next inevitable catastrophe sooner or later, and then it will be too late to realize that all of them, we are in danger of death less than 100km from a nuclear power plant, much worse danger than Xynthia !! !!

Unfortunately, there are no more customs officers, and if it starts again, the clouds will pass over France ........

that day, I emptied all my cans of water which I used to water the garden, and I washed all the vegetables in the garden with plenty of water ...... that may be why I am still here to say it
