206 15 000 from a CV that works ... with water

by Christophe » 08/08/06, 10:51

It is only a show vehicle it is true, but it must be recognized that the exercise is interesting and rather innovative.

Indeed under the pretext of making a 206 intended to expose itself in different exhibitions, its owner opted for a motorization obviously extremely powerful but especially which does not work with an ordinary fuel. Indeed the 206 Rocket car turns with water !!

Driven by a propellant developed by Nasa, based on the adiabatic expansion of superheated water at 250 ° C, the power announced is 15 CV .. we will also appreciate the inconspicuous integration of the whole and especially the enormous steam released which makes us think that this type of motorization is not necessarily compatible with road use ...

Ok, I think I understood how the car moved: water is heated to 250 ° C in a "bombone", it rises in pressure and when you open the tap, the steam, coming out through the nozzle, serves as a propellant . On the other hand, contrary to what the title - misleading - might suggest, water is only the propellant. They do not predict where the energy for heating water is drawn from : Shock: :?: :?: :?:

Unless I missed something ...

... or to do steam cleaning ... of building facades for example : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:

I liked in the comments the guy who was very disappointed that the owner had "clamped" his body at 15000Cv while it was 30000Cv before. Anyway, now it's a calf: barely 150hp / kg : Wink:

Yeah 150hp / kg for 1 / 10th of a second ... and then you push ...:D or rather you get 0.5 Cv (the guy who pushes) for 1000 kg ... or 0.0005Cv / kg

Yes, but 1 / 10th of a second to do the 400m separating from the bakery, that's enough. And in addition, you make them super fast. Your girl is not yet awake that you are already back with the croissants !!!

There was something like that in the "Darwin Award" (the prize awarded each year for the most stupid death).

A former USAF mechanic had mounted an airplane reactor on his pick-up, the authorities had a hard time understanding how the guy could have encrusted himself at 50m in height in a cliff with his 4x4 : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:
