Ecologist 24 has been published! On newsstands or on order.

Dossier: the Grenelle of the environment.

Miracle or circle? The candidate Nicolas Sarkozy had shown little interest in ecology. Become president, he organizes the unprecedented event of the "Grenelle of the environment"! The record of L'Ecologiste takes stock.
Also read in this issue, articles on biofuels in Colombia, the proposed European Treaty, choosing a diet to prevent Alzheimer's disease, the Pacific Ocean, the climate crisis, the art of nap ... and the usual chronicles!

Did you buy it? Is it interesting and objective?

on the site we find this and it is on the agenda =>

Fabrice Nicolino: hunger, cars, wheat and us.

Just published !

A hard-hitting and truly invigorating book

"A denunciation of biofuels" : the subtitle clearly expresses the thesis of the new book by Fabrice Nicolino, which appears the first week of October. However, the idea seemed nice: to ride rapeseed rather than oil, was not it to avoid the climate crisis while giving a new outlet for farmers? Fabrice Nicolino brilliantly shows that, on the contrary, "biofuels" are really an ecological disaster. The price of basic agricultural products is exploding, the few tropical forests still intact are about to be devastated and ... the climate crisis is aggravated. Who sets up such a hoax? Why ? A brilliant survey and a real pleasure of reading.

They announced the increases in 2007 on cereals with all the repercussions on products "based on ..." ... etc.

The percentages are enormous and new increases are planned for January 2008.

To say that this is related to biofuels, it's probably a good reason: everything is good to make money and distribute + dividends to shareholders of large multinational agribusiness.

Has anyone read this book?

Only when he has brought down the last tree, the last river contaminated, the last fish caught that man will realize that money is not edible (Indian MOHAWK).

Not bought it just released.

The ecologist is always very "partisan" ... but the figures are always credible.

For Nicolino's book, I exchanged an email with him and it seems resolutely against biofuel ... even from seaweed.

So I found that it was "slightly" lacking in objectivity ... and openness : Evil:
