I am not a hunter at all, besides I would not dare to kill an animal.
But Here in Canada the territory is very vast for the population, it begins to have too many poor little beasts which join the populations, the bears, the elks and the deer come out of the woods because the hunters have enormously decreased, the deer die in more on the roads than in the forest and the seals of Mrs. Bardot who eats innumerable quantities of fish, moreover the population has increased a hundredfold.
The problem of Europe is quite different from Canada in terms of animal species, in Canada the pollution has diminished, the vegetation has taken over, the birds have returned, extinct species are currently in large populations.
I have Moon butterflies in industrial quantities at home, an endangered species not to mention the others.
All in all, it's much less alarming than you might think.
Maybe you should look in your backyard and in the backyard of the Chinese before pointing in directions that are already very protected at the level of small animals. Why Green Peace do not go there in China?
In Canada we have the largest animal reserve parks in the world, it's normal we have a very large good country but still we made the effort.
We'd better watch the sea (our trash) closer, where the real problem exists.

Good idea, just put contact glue on the pot and on its mouth and hop choppé. Not even need a club, it will have the legs glued to the pot and the muzzle glued inside.
