Did you notice a significant drop (not 3 or 4 cents but more)?

France: fuel prices are falling again

Fuel prices fell again last week, in the wake of crude oil prices, according to data posted Monday on the website of the French Union of Petroleum Industries (Ufip).

They had been falling steadily since mid-July, like those for crude oil, but started to rise again at the end of August, before falling again since the beginning of September.

The liter of diesel, the most consumed fuel in France, sold on average last week for 1,3245 euros, against 1,3361 euros the previous week, according to data from Ufip. At the end of May, it had recorded a record at 1,4541 euros.

The liter of unleaded super 95 was worth an average of 1,4255 euros last week, against 1,4364 euros the previous week. Its last record dates from the end of June, at 1,4971 euros.

As for domestic fuel oil, it fell back below the 0,90 euro bar, to 0,8953 euro per liter, against 0,9053 euro the previous week. It had reached a record in early July, at 1,0143 euro.

Ufip prices correspond to weekly averages, but they can vary from day to day or from one gas station to another. Fuels are often sold at cost in hypermarkets as a lead product.

According to Ufip, the evolution of the price of the barrel is reflected in the prices at the pump in France within a period varying from 10 to 15 days and an evolution of the price of the barrel of crude of 10 dollars results in a variation of the prices. at the pump of 5 cents.

Oil prices rebounded as trade opened in New York on Monday, above $ 109, as a new hurricane, Ike, threatens the production of black gold in the Gulf of Mexico.

There is lag ... but in both directions ... and Apparently it's psychological that it goes up more than it goes down ...

: Arrow: The barrel fell below $ 70 after rising to $ 150 ... At the pump we saw the increases passed on without delay, what about the fall. :?:
