The BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is a stew.
BMW does not want its hybridization to serve an ecological "cause"!
BMW is an aging brand even outdated!, Spread the word : Mrgreen:
[Mode = I'm farting an OFF cable]
I am sorry, but your cable lining is completely unjustified because BMW is the manufacturer who must have the lowest values of consumption compared to the level of range where it is located ...

It is the only one, for example, to be able to leave diesel sedans in "C" categories (less than 130 g CO2 / km) with 180 hp ...

So okay, BMW is not really in the "small green car" but this does not prevent their efforts are very meritorious and could serve as an example ...

An example: with equivalent motor the Mini D consumes about 20% less than 207 ... Who should be cited as an example? Who is an aging brand?

Speaking of large cars, which are their spearhead, it is true that BMW knows how to make excellent engines ... obsolete. With yields to make the competition to the powers that we never use pale ... If they do not change the rifle and their way of seeing the future, it would not surprise me that they die in a few years. But this is only a point of view : Mrgreen:

@ Lumberjack,

I believe indeed that I mixed ... with that which is only a project:
http://news.caradisiac.com/Future-BMW-M ... 590-ch-167

There is also the 335d which has the 2-stage turbo ... We end up mixing the brushes : Lol:
http://www.bmw.fr/fr/fr/newvehicles/3se ... iesel.html

@Flytox,

There is truth, but when BMW remains reasonable, it is very good: for example, the 116d is not bad at all (4,4L / 100 km: well driven and hybridized, it would go to 3L ...)

Obsolete? : Shock: But why then, great gods?

And even if we don't use power, these motors are and remain extremely efficient ...

An example: my brother bought a BM 330d station wagon, in 204 hp version (early 2000s, I think). And of course on journeys similar to mine, it consumes about 15% less, for example a motorway journey at 140 km / h, it exits at 5.8 l - 5.9 l per 100 km.

I think it is the "Premium" manufacturer most able to adapt to "tight" European regulations in terms of CO2, if it does happen one day.

Hello Woodcutter
Obsolete? : Shock: But why then, great gods?

Obsolete because I suppose / "hope" that the big car market has collapsed in the medium term under the weight of pollution regulations, the increase in fuel prices and the crisis. To achieve consumption performance, sooner or later they will have to reduce the size of the wing, finally making smaller and much less powerful engines, adapted to regulated speeds and to the city ...

Confessed, I see what you mean ...
Well at this time all the German manufacturers are in the same case ...

And there, it's just the "size" of the engines and vehicles that is wrong, nothing to do with the technique used!
I maintain that Béhème's ability to make vehicles that are very "efficient" in relation to their performance / size / socio-economic position is a major asset for this manufacturer. They are even ahead, not obsolete ...
