This is not because we always said that it is impossible that we should not try :)

: Arrow: When I was at the "miscanthus" day, I told a young farmer that it existed; he was amazed.
Fortunately, another old farmer confirmed my statements ... :D

I think it is rather an education problem ... training (initial or not) if you prefer!

In other words: ignorance and skepticism (kept in place by agricultural lobbies: seed and chemical companies in particular who have absolutely no interest in polluting less) ...

We can see it a bit in this video https://www.econologie.com/agriculture-d ... -3888.html

On the subject of the rapid exhaustion of soils, their preservation, no-till cultivation methods and everything, I highly recommend the conference by Claude Bourguignon, available at this address:

http://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x9t1d_BioBee_revitalisation-de-la-terre

It's really good and we understand a lot of things. Indispensable, especially if like me we don't know much about agriculture / vegetable garden. It explains the problems, and it offers solutions!

Chris, I don't know if you referenced it on econology ... if it's not the case I would suggest it to you.
