It's good, I took care of it.

For the next time try to reduce to 800 pixels wide max. (lower height).

For compression it is simple to obtain the best results (readability / weight of the image):

- bcp image: .jpg or .png
- bcp of text and graphics (or black and white): .gif

To return to the article (which I could read completely now) it is obviously dismal attitude but FINALLY TOTALLY surprising ...

Do not forget one thing: your health (or rather your illnesses) are their benefits ...

So when polluters and carers belong to the same interest groups ...

For the attention of those who have not read the 2 pages of the article, they are now at the beginning of page 1.

Good reading.

If you set a resolution of 72dpi, it corresponds to the resolution of a normal screen. that should be enough for the image to have a reasonable size. In size and weight.

OK, do I have to look in the scanner settings?

The best is still to rework the image after scanning ...

Any image editing software does this and, as Christophe said, saving the image in 800 pixels wide allows a very good compromise between display size and readability.

I did not say total ... but, for example, the Vivendi group worked (and it is not because it is no longer now that things / large shareholders have changed) as much in the treatment of waste by incineration (Véolia environment) than in pharma (Aventis) ... So good ...

But there is much worse as an example: in the USA, a trust has 2 factories:
1) anti-personnel mines
2) prostheses
