Interesting presentation of Motor-Nature on the basis of a CITEPA report.

Yes very interesting indeed, as much on the rate of the diesel particles as the rate of CO2 in increase, among others. And why not have done earlier air conditioning with CO2 as a refrigerant gas?
Too bad all the same not to know more about the share of "commercial" road transport, public and private, but it must be possible.
It is also a pity not to know the importance of "particular" heating in these figures.

And then we always highlight the progress of engine downstream devices, such as catalytic converters and FAP while it would probably be better to work on upstream devices to optimize combustion. But the report only states.

This is exactly what happened with the transition from the Ricardo combustion chamber to the common high-pressure direct injection rail, then its evolution (increase in pressure and number of injections per cycle).
This is also going to happen with the development of HCCI engines.

Yes, it's true, for diesel.

Ah, when is it planned? it only concerns gasoline engines is not it?

Lost is the "other" engine ...

For when I do not know the 1ers patent have just been published ... it should come out in 2008 or 2009 ...
