Ode to the nuclear .....

Poem "Ode to nuclear"

You said nuclear
So no CO2 in the atmosphere
You said thermal
So atmospheric CO2

But what is this man doing on earth
With its nuclear power plants
Did he need that
To live in peace on earth?

Yes, of course, but how
During all these winters?
Cover yourself with animal skins
Like our good old ancestors?

But what will he do this summer
With its nuclear power plants?
Go pump water underground
But no, is it too expensive?

We can do better .............. it's up to you !!

Only when he has brought down the last tree, the last river contaminated, the last fish caught that man will realize that money is not edible (Indian MOHAWK).

Remember that a nuclear reactor producing 1 GW (1000 Mw or 1 kW) electric needs cooling of the order of 000 GW this cooling is provided by vaporization (and therefore put in the atmosphere) d 'huge amounts of water that will, at least locally, affect the climate contributing to the greenhouse effect and increased precipitation.
