Nicolas Sarkozy generates as many CO2 as 1.000 French
Since October 2007, the date which corresponds to the conclusion of the Grenelle de l'Environnement, the hyper-president Nicolas Sarkozy has generated 7.061 tons of CO2 during his travels, one of the main greenhouse gases. By way of comparison, this corresponds to all the emissions over a year for 1.000 average citizens, 1.750 times around the Earth in a Smart or even the "production" of 823 dairy cows.
Terra Economica denies wanting to "stigmatize" the Head of State but warns against the upcoming purchase of a new A330-300, even more polluting. Especially since the current calculation does not take into account the emissions of the entourage of the Head of State, nor his private emissions ...
the hyper-presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy is not without consequences for the environment. The magazine Terre Economica did the math: since October 2007, that is to say since the Grenelle of the environment, the Head of State has generated during his travels, 47 in France and 42 abroad , 7.061 tons of CO2, one of the main greenhouse gases.
By way of comparison, this corresponds to all the emissions over a year for 1.000 average citizens, 1.750 times around the Earth in a Smart or even the "production" of 823 dairy cows. And this is still a minimum estimate since Terra Economica has not taken into account the private trips of the President of the Republic and the CO2 emissions linked to his team and to those who accompany him, especially abroad. .
It is not a question of stigmatizing the President of the Republic according to Terra Economica but rather of warning and giving advice to improve the situation. Because by launching the order for a new A330-300, the Head of State is off to a bad start, this aircraft running the risk of doubling presidential CO2 emissions next year. Among the options to compensate: "write a check for 25 million euros to afford a TGV train for national trips", "book a Prius (with driver)", agree with a videoconference company, or again "take the example of Lance Armstrong and opt for 2 wheels".

you surprise me. yet the pêt must be taken seriously, in Europe it is 80% of the future NRJ, if we know how to consider it.

"France could inject biogas into the natural gas network"
Renewable energy, the least spoken of in France, biogas, or gas resulting from the degradation of organic matter in the absence of oxygen, is currently mainly burned without any form of recovery in France. Yet, the possibilities to value it are multiple. It can be used to produce electricity, heat or even fuel for vehicles, or in addition to supplying individuals with natural gas (heating homes, food, etc.). injecting it into the corresponding network.
If the European regulation allows its injection into European networks of natural gas, it leaves it to each state to define the characteristics of the biogas to be injected. Indeed, depending on its origin, the composition of biogas varies in large proportions. Consisting largely of methane and, to a lesser extent, carbon dioxide (1), the rest of its composition is due to the nature of the waste and associated processes (2). Thus, the biogas also contains hydrogen sulphide, oxygen, nitrogen, to which should be added a pallet of 250 other chemical compounds (for a total share not exceeding 5%) that may be present according to the production source.
With an annual production of 300 millions of tonnes of animal waste from farms, France has one of the largest biogas production potential in Europe
Although at European level Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland are already injecting biogas into their natural gas networks, in France this is still prohibited, particularly for public health issues. Also, it is to remove any ambiguity in the matter that in September 2006 the ministries in charge of health, ecology and energy have mandated AFSSET (French Agency for Sanitary Safety of the Environment) on the health risks for users at home due to the injection of biogas into the natural gas distribution network.
After 2 years of evaluation, the agency has just made its analysis by considering '... that there is no specific health risk related to the injection into the network of certain types of purified biogas'. By this verdict, the agency opens the door, in France, to a significantly higher value of biogas from household organic waste, agriculture, catering or the food industry. Conversely, AFSSET, for lack of sufficient data, does not comment on biogas from sludge from wastewater treatment plants and industrial waste.

1- These two gases are used in the composition of raw biogas with more than 50% (landfill biogas) and up to 90% (biogas from a digester).
2- Biogas production processes are based on the fermentation of organic matter in the absence of oxygen (methanation) in:
- discharge or non-hazardous waste storage facility;
- digester (fermentation device) of household waste, agricultural effluents (straws, cakes, pulps, tops, vegetable or fruit waste, whey, oils, fats, excrement, ...), green waste from communities (mowing grass, ...), sewage sludge, industrial waste (paper mills, dairies, slaughterhouses, ...).

Still a little sleight of hand to prevent his arrears ...
A real "Berlusconi"!
It must be that it must be very much manipulated and diverted, at this moment, to scrape cash funds, or public aid.
If he says he wants to save money on the backs of the judges, he has to do it by reducing his unnecessary trips and stay in the country to deal with the abuse of the French.
