Normal, he's a Belgian! (as Zénobe Gramme)
It should be remembered that at that time, while France, Italy, Germany, America were predominantly agricultural nations, Belgium was the 2nd industrial nation in the world, a situation which has further improved after 1900 thanks to Congo, Belgian colony, geological scandal.
Until the end of the 50s, Belgium kept the position of the first or second exporter of industrial goods in the world per capita.

It's still better than having Sarkozy as president! And as few freedoms as the French.
In fact the Flemish want everything, the Brussels residents and the Walloons defend themselves.
History is thus made, each country knows glorious hours and empty passages. My point was a little cocorico, of course, but above all a historical comment for our non-Belgian readers.
It must be recognized that this has been much worse since the 60s: we have lost the Congo, our coal mines have had to close, etc.

Hi Elephant,
Oh ... All in all, I prefer that than what is happening in Belgium, there are even xenophobic relays there ... Still we have a government that works.
And I believe for your last remark that we are really at the bottom of the wave in France ... but we looked for it at the bottom

(2) We don't have a monopoly! And this is one of the things that makes things painful.
I propose that we stop our little skirmish, unrelated to the debate

And we will have to talk about Beau de Rochas and Otto Exclamation
Certainly, everyone will gain: a day without learning is a lost day!
