Zinc Air Fuel Cell Technology http://www.electric-fuel.com/evtech/index.shtml 200 Wh / kg ... It's very good! When we have run out of lithium by building 18 billion Tesla Roadsters (x 000 million recyclings, that gives 1 billion billions!), This technology will remain. And there's still ...

I do not know how Lithium Air will work (or at least what the technology is based on).

There are Zinc Air batteries (the Meridian Institute is promoting them), there must be a report.

You are right.
And in addition I had retained 1000 Wh / Kg in high assumption whereas it is 2000 according to the laboratory LITEN of CEA.

So yes, we arrive at almost the same useful mass energy density as that of oil!

Well yes Lumberjack, 2000 would be excellent, we would be at 30% of the capacity of petroleum fuels on STORABLE USEFUL energy (20% average yield for gasoline, 85% for electric). You do well to insist on the USEFUL. Gasoline: 11900 Wh / Kg Lithium Air battery (if the research is successful): ...

There are very interesting technical data on the site of SAFT, a large battery manufacturer: http://www.saftbatteries.com/Technologies_Lithium_Liion_301/Default.aspx They have batteries that reach 185 Wh / kg (ref: VL52E) Everything did. SAFT is allied with the American Johnson. They will equip ...

if you have other datasheets? Yes. CEA http://www.cea.fr/content/download/3154/15025/file/130a135martinet.pdf (2004-2005) Wh / Kg Pb: 30 NiCd: 30 - 50 NiMH: 70 - 80 Li Ion: 150 - 170 For Lithium ion, growth of 8% per year for 10 years. With Lithium Ion, we do more than 5 times better than ...

Yes, in 2004,

8% increase per year for Lithium ion ...

Bolloré is alone with the LMP and it is progressing more slowly.

LPM Bolloré, it's 110 (from memory, to be checked)
Lithium Ion, over 150

200 Wh / kg? Not marketed, I think ...

Exact.
