There's no mystery, the heat pump, you have to be able to do without it for a few days a year, and have alternative heating! wood type, little dependence.

Re: Everything you need to know about photovoltaics in France

When you want to be 100% autonomous, even 80%, you have to be ready to make concessions, there's no mystery..

Already be able to have a 3 kVA subscription, at least, to compensate for a few days per year....

Re: Everything you need to know about photovoltaics in France

It would be interesting to be able to short circuit their business to recover elements that cannot be reclassified in automobiles, but are valid for stationary? Yes, it is doable, but not everything is compatible with everything. You need to put a BMS that communicates with the inverter. I am desperately looking for...

Re: Everything you need to know about photovoltaics in France

I said that, because the inverter has a self-consumption, let's say 50Wh, and in 24 hours, you already lose, at least, 1.2 kWh.... If we take 50% of the batteries' maximum discharge, you already have About 1/3 of them go off into the void, when there is no sun. The shot ? no, the cost is too high, I think, for me...

Re: E85 in a fuel boiler, risk over time?

I was mainly thinking about cleaning the system, a bit like when I removed the GO pipes to put them in a 5L can of oil from the stoves of the same name, in order to clean the injection of the old diesel...

I haven't had a fuel boiler for a long time, it was an idea like that....

E85 in a fuel boiler, risk over time?

I saw yesterday on YouTube a guy who was doing tests with 50% and 100% E85. It works very well, up to around 50%, less well at 100%. I think the e85 is too dry for the pump, and risks damaging it over time, but at a few percent, wouldn't that clean the circuit? You...
