At high voltage (20kV and above) earthing and short circuiting (MALTCC) upstream and downstream of the site has been part of the standard procedure for much longer than photovoltaic production. In BT (but also in HT for that matter) there is necessarily a VAT in the order procedure...

Nothing really new, in the HC/HP contract there are people who have off-peak hours during the day. Besides, it caused quite a scandal because Enedis had been asked to deactivate the water heater control for these off-peak "midday" hours. So in short, more crap...
