Re: Driving an electric car every day

Kona balance sheet, 4 years, 120 km.

Bilan Kona 02/21, 64 kWh, 204 cv, 121 000 km.

Re: Physical vs. Virtual Solar Battery?

The problem is that if you want to argue, one way or the other, you have to know what you're talking about.

And know the vocabulary of the thing being studied! : Lol:

Re: Physical vs. Virtual Solar Battery?

You buy a battery, about 2 kWh = 1000€. You draw 1 kWh from it every day. 365 days * 1 kWh/day * 15 years * 0.2€/kWh = 1095€ well, the battery 15 years, to see, maybe, not sure.... You have 7.5 kWh of battery at 1000€. You use 3 kWh from it every day. 365 * 3 kWh 5 years * 0.20€ = 1095€, ...

Re: Physical vs. Virtual Solar Battery?

Excerpt: "Maximize your self-consumption" - logically, you should have NOTHING to do with EDF... since it is self-consumption. "Self-consumption = no resale to EDF, even if you are connected to the network. So possibility of resale in "virtual" battery. That's it...

Re: Lifespan of amorphous panels

Amorphous solar panels sometimes have a shorter lifespan, nearly 10 years, compared to conventional models (25 years). When the sun isn't there, these modules maintain their performance, but the percentage of power output depends on various factors, such as the size of the...

Re: Physical vs. Virtual Solar Battery?

Where I work, there are 1200 kWp installed, in a shaded area. Currently, roughly, from 10 a.m. to 16 p.m., we produce 98-100% of our consumption (when the sun is shining, of course). As I always say, I prefer to have panels at at least 50° tilt (almost 60° in my garden), to promote production...

Re: Physical vs. Virtual Solar Battery?

Today, it's around €1000 for 2 kWh.

If we approach 10 kWh, it will be cheap, and we will make real savings with batteries.

Re: Physical vs. Virtual Solar Battery?

It's important to remember that for around 5-10 kWh of battery power, it should be around €1000 in a year, roughly.
