LED lamp battery without gravity, without battery ...

Innovations, ideas or patents for sustainable development. Decrease in energy consumption, reduction of pollution, improvement of yields or processes ... Myths or reality about inventions of the past or the future: the inventions of Tesla, Newman, Perendev, Galey, Bearden, cold fusion ...

Do you sell batteries or electricity? : Mrgreen:
And you're a shareholder? : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:
80 € for a night light or have to stand to read 10 cm of the bulb and or have to go up a weight of 12.5 kg every 20 mn. Saw the junk, I do not give 6 months of operation.

For less than 10 €, you have this kind of solar kit, 10 times brighter much more convenient

For less than 10 € I think this solar kit will not hold 3 months ... or 3 hours? : Cheesy:
And there is deception on the merchandise: it is not 15W or 20W but 1.5W or 2W ... considering the surface of the solar panels!

For the gravity lamp, what does the theory say about power?

12.5 kg on 1m that makes E = mgh = 12.5 * 1 * 10 = 125 Joules mechanical is 100 Joules electric, what to feed a led bulb of 1 Watts during ... 100 seconds, ah yes it is not much!

You're right, finally it's expensive! : Cheesy:

But the idea remains interesting!

Perhaps with a little liquid nitrogen, or speed bumpers, the performance of this revolutionary machine would be increased tenfold ...
In any case, that is already enough to make a revolutionary energy producers union with which it will be necessary to count.

It is odd that the inventors of genius believe that by complicating something simple we will get much better results; everyone knows how to pull a string ...

It is true that the advertised features lack detail, but I have checked, other sellers indicate:
140 lm for 8 h battery life and 5000 hrs for lithium battery
20 w is the equivalent incandescent lamp, it is not much and a battery, it is replaced.

Gravitylight announce:
Max loaded weight bag 12.5 kg / 27.5 lbs
Nominal Voltage * 2.7 V DC
Max current * 0.031 A
Max electrical power * 0.085 W
Luminous flux 15 lm

There is a report about 10 for lighting

5000 h is the total life of the battery that ... 600 cycles ...

Given the size of the system (batteries included in the socket of the bulb) I do not think a load provides more 1h light ... go 2 great max ... Certainly not 8h but we can refine the calculation if we has more data.

Once the battery is flat, it's over ... a night lasts more than 1 or 2h. Hence the interest of the gravity system ...

We must still think about sleeping! Joking aside, it seems fragile to me this solar gadget, another premature e-waste and very disgusting.

Sometimes you have to make several sellers to have the right characteristics.
1.6Ah / 3.7 V that makes 5.92 Wh / 0.8 W = 7.8 hours of autonomy, not so bad;)

For the one that needs 3 hours of lighting per night, it can be enough.
It's sure it's right but it was for comparison. You multiply by 8 and you will have something that will hold the road better than the gravity thing.

Connectable in series to increase lighting duration,
one bag touching the ground, triggering the fall of the next one...
Several hours can thus be produced by several devices triggered in series.
