A torch water Kager

Innovations, ideas or patents for sustainable development. Decrease in energy consumption, reduction of pollution, improvement of yields or processes ... Myths or reality about inventions of the past or the future: the inventions of Tesla, Newman, Perendev, Galey, Bearden, cold fusion ...

Christophe wrote:In your opinion, why did these electrolysis torch technology not quickly replace the oxyacetylene and other high temperature equivalent welding stations?

I guess there are still technological disadvantages? Or other such as for example: a difficulty of adaptation for the professional welders? Unless it's just lobbying gas sellers?

yes yes blowtorch electrolysis.

Why ineptly call this wire "water torch"

By following the reasoning of the first posterior I should certainly call my PC a uranium PC.
Indeed 80% of the electricity produced in France is based on nuclear, so uranium, my PC works not with electricity but with Uranium. : Cheesy:

Yes you're right but is it worth it to be so scornful?

I, too, have seen these torches work. head, the Sté. had a name like "Spirig micro-flame" and it works for small applications.

The oxy-hydrogen torch is used for drilling, not for welding (for reasons known to weld quality) besides a new American process is under development for deep drilling for geothermal: it drills to a speed of 30m / h, without wear as there is no contact between the torch and the rock: it is the flame at 3700 ° C that does the work ...

There was a detailed program on this subject on a satellite channel in German, which also dealt with the experimental geothermal station in Soultz (Haut Rhin) ...

Because I like this analogy of the torch and water in the form and in the image that it conveys

It's a bit like (to say aloud, if I insist):

Mr. and Mrs. Fonfec have a daughter

.
Sophie

aloud I tell you :D , that's what I like
