Replace H4 halogen with LEDs, pilot lights, indicators ...

by plasmanu » 10/01/20, 07:58

Bonjour.
It is within the reach of the first comer.
You get 15 € all inclusive shipping costs included.
I chose H4 led 3400lm without ballasts because technically I have absolutely no room and for the choice of pilot lights my favorite color: sky blue, for the indicators necessarily orange 800lm

Boooouhhh the bike LED !! : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

You have to see the reliability over time: the first LED road model was not great ... it has obviously evolved since then but customer reviews are still mixed on some models.

You should know that Chinese sites do NOT systematically validate bad customer comments ... We are going to pass this on (capitalist) communist censorship!

If you want to make a bad comment, put 4 or 5 stars (out of 5) and explain in the text that it's shit in china! There it can pass ... : Cheesy:

I notice that the light intensity is slightly lower. But I have 2 bulbs instead of a classic.
Power consumption is ridiculous.
You can guess a very slight intensity tremor during large variations in engine speed, like some neon lights.
I don't drive at night so it's okay.
For the rear it is already all integrated into a LED rail.
Position, brake, indicators and plate lighting.

For my electric Matra scooter, I bought a big piece of shit (the finish is average) but at a ridiculous price.
The scooter has only one lighting mode. No full lighthouse.

I'm looking for photos of the flashing lights, it shows at 10kms, I took the flattest model possible to diffuse the maximum of light in the plastic. Google photos made a joke of me.

It is to relieve my very small AGM battery which supports the wiring towards the USB with the handlebar and especially the heated handles which have a relay which I added (I was made quilted a few times).
And the connection for optimal 6

This is what I thought: it is not yet 100% developed ... we cannot tolerate variations in intensity on a road vehicle ... not so much for you as for other road users !

The heating of the integrated ballasts (which are rather transformers) is the factor limiting the lifespan ... Depending on the optics they are more or less well cooled. Even if the overall consumption is lower compared to halogens there has A's arriving in the transformer primary. I assume that your H4 is in the 30W since the efficiency of a led is around 100 lm / W ...

So 30W is at least 2A arriving ...

Finally, you have to see what the gendarmerie thinks too ... M'enfin if you do not drive at night no big risk ... in your case at least!

It's like when I come into Leclerc, the light is parasitic. But few feel it.
And go from idle to breaker I don't practice much

It's 190 lm / W ... It must be a bit exaggerated ... always beware of Chinese data.

In short, whatever matters is reliability. Tell us what after the season!

The motorcycle from 2006 to 40000 km. I got it at 30000kms in 2013 there is room for wear.
4,7l / 100 on highway. 5,8l / 100 in the calanques of the esterel my record. In Ardèche it is 5,3l / 100.
OBD socket, on-board computer, injection with programmable mapping, clamping 100cv by screw on the accelerator stop, aviation hose.

Uh, I was talking about the reliability of LEDs! : Cheesy:

clamping 100cv by screw on the accelerator stop

Without dec? I can hardly believe that there is only that!

So obviously you have not touched this screw? : Cheesy:

From memory it must be in the 120-125 hp in FULL powaaar?
