Photovoltaic in the countryside: ecological or not?

by Exnihiloest » 22/01/20, 15:55

I discover that on the sites of RTL's long wave transmitters, which occupy hectares, large solar parks are built:
https://www.wort.lu/fr/luxembourg/l-ene ... 784e3546e9

That means more darkness beneath their surface, fewer plants, fewer insects ...
If I understand solar on a roof, are we ecologically winning with this practice in the countryside? Is it at least as "ecological" as used by agriculture, where is it to make more money than agriculture with the land knowing that soon the transmitters will probably be closed like those of many other AM stations ?

Can anyone explain to me how light energy could be used both by plants and by solar cells?
There is no longer conservation of energy, does it multiply?
Or is it that to produce electricity, we agree to produce fewer plants than we could do with all the light?

And on Reunion Island, they do this next to a prison on an industrial wasteland where prisoners are too happy to garden outside, it protects the crop from cyclones and too direct sun. Water savings at stake, soil restoration, permaculture ...
Go explain it to someone who doesn't know what's beyond Africa.

I'm going to take a picture of the garden center inside and outside near my home. It speaks more. Orchids in the sun is so so and so on.

Needless to say, with us the PVs look to the south and the windows to the north.
It's absurd, at the meeting they do the opposite the idiots. And it still works, a story of flat land surely.
But I believe that there too the sun rises in the east to set in the west but that remains to be proven, I haven't been there yet

This discussion is fallacy ... pure and hard à la Exni !!

Instead of crying over the few hectares of lost light (which does not destroy all of the biodiversity, far from it) by a few PV plants, you'd better ask about the concreteisation of the land (we speak in thousands of hectares per year) ... because in the second case there is TOTAL destruction of biodiversity!

Ah but no we can not criticize the concrete for Exni, since it is justified by economic development ...

I find it nice that he holds out the stick to be beaten.
It is a very interesting subject on the contrary, but just broached in reverse.
It's not there that it will be understood by asking the wrong questions, the right answers

I have already seen concrete on the ground.
I have already seen PV.
But never PV on concrete floor.
PV can fly. In the evening they are there. The next day they are no longer there.

A loop along the Ardèche of 20kms at 4l / 100 of diesel is a lot of CO2 for 4 photos for our friend.

But why, why, why they did this 12/13 years ago.
And why I have had the same at home for 10 years. I wonder
