Photovoltaic installation price EDF ENR justified?

by charline » 20/03/13, 19:17

Hello everybody

To participate in the reduction of greenhouse gases we decided to have photovoltaic panels installed.
2 studies one by EDF ENR price € 16500 panels guaranteed 30 years.
inverter 10 years.
The other study by the installer of my heat pump € 12050 but the warranty is for 10 years only.

The EDF guarantee is 90% up to 12 years 80% up to 25 years and 70% up to 30 years of the initial production.

But how can we prove that the drop in production comes from the panel and not from the sun?

Is this guarantee worth 4000 € ????

12000 € that's 4 € / Wp integrated (I presume) so it's a good price ...

Do not worry about the warranty: your inverter will break before the panels ... moreover, what are the brands of panels?

German, German is quickly said ... because often it is the assembly of Chinese cells ... not 100% German.

Find the 2 quotes ... and you can tell us ...

+ 10 %

by charline » 20/03/13, 20:06

it is 100% German because otherwise we cannot benefit from the current 10% increase on the purchase of the elec

Ah yes the famous new law of NKM?

If this is the case in both cases, no reason to go to EDF ENR ... on the other hand, to see their good faith, try to negotiate with them a 20 year warranty on the inverter...just to see"...

Two quotes is too little:

you have to be a cow! summon several installers, have the quotes of the competition lying on the table, know the wholesale price of the panels, leave to marinate!

Question neighbors and friends. Do not agree to pay too large deposits. Clear the balance (reserve value 10% only when the company has done everything it promised, including replacing broken tiles, repairing leaks)

And above all, avoid being put to sleep with shading problems:

The height of vacancy, when you have a computer and know how to use it, is to have false quotes from the competition : Mrgreen:

that said, € 4 integrated, it's not too bad: we manage to reach € 3 in installation reported in Belgium.

As an indication, the panels leave the factory at around € 1.

Find out: German brand, does not always mean German manufacturing.
On the other hand, if the cells are Chinese, if the glass and the assembly are made with us, that's already it!
