Hey, let's start talking about it!

I mentioned it somewhere, but I don't remember where....
In spring/summer, with the development of PV in France and our neighbors, that wouldn't be stupid.

Re: EDF electricity: off-peak hours during the day?
The unspoken goal of smart meters is ultimately to make all consumers pay the market price which fluctuates throughout the day (this is the case for large consumers, industries for example, since "always"...) ...I don't know the price sampling deadline though?
Off-peak hours take up this principle in a very "light" way...
So yes it's a good idea...

Nothing really new, in the HC/HP contract there are people who have off-peak hours during the day.
Moreover, it caused quite a scandal because Enedis was asked to deactivate the water heater control for these “midday” off-peak hours.
So in short, more putaclic which the press has the secret...

We must admit that there are still much worse things in terms of putaclic!

...
Indeed, technically there is nothing very new.
Just a few habits to change to benefit from it (or not). I am thinking in particular of EV owners who today naturally tend to charge their vehicle while they sleep.

HC with variable hours why not... But in 10 years, when I will be at home during the day... For now I need it at night for my Czéro... (although I say that but it gives me seems that the subscription costs me more than I earn with the HC)

It seems surprising to me, the difference in subscription is only around €10/year, depending on the power subscribed.
With an EV, even a small one, it must be quickly repaid.

Effectively ...
53.35% HC consumption Beyond 48 it is supposed to be profitable
For me additional HC would be welcome between 20 p.m. and midnight, rather than in the middle of the day because of my workshop (I benefit from them between 12:30 p.m. and 14:30 p.m.) we see that they are still well exploited by Mamita who is at home (it uses a magic wand )

From what I understood from reading a few articles (typing "create off-peak hours", the idea would not be to increase the number (8h/d), but to move them during the day, at least during spring/summer when the solar produces strong.

And in your case, without wanting to advertise, have you done a little simulation of what a "temporary" price would give?
Unless it is heated purely electrically, in which case the "red" days will weigh down the bill.
But if I noted correctly, you have other ways to travel than by EV during these "red days", so no need to recharge during these.
