Choice of solar panels for a van transformed into a motorhome

Hello everyone,

I live in France and am currently in the process of fitting out a van. I'm looking for solar panels, for a power of 200 to 300 Watts, which I will secure on the gallery of the truck. The supply of solar panels is endless, on merchant sites such as amazon or cdiscount, the specs are almost non-existent. I'm looking for advice to find the best quality / price ratio. Takes 1, 2 or 3 monocrystalline of 300Wp, they are more efficient than poly. Putting several will guarantee you a "reasonable" production even in case of bad weather...

Thank you for your answer and your advice, it is exactly what I was looking for.
On the other hand, you are thinking of 3 x 370 Watts for a fitted van, that seems huge to me, doesn't it?

If you have the space and the budget… put in 3… to be quiet… but 2 should be enough.

Don't forget that a motorhome solar panel is never well oriented...because it's flat all the time...unless you have a tilting system...I've never seen one...

The inclination counts more than the orientation as long as you are not in the North...

This is essentially what we mounted on my friend's dicato with 180 ah of regulator batteries and Victron converter.. It is 99% autonomous but it is rather sober... And when the van is parked at him... He uses the fridge of the truck for his house and pulls extension cords to vacuum tinker...
