This is not a typo: god, character are undefined in the context I have chosen. It is a god or a character of some kind, whereas the Revolution or the People referred to abstractions identifiable in recent history.

Personally, I have no problem with the absence of a capital letter in God. "La Grande Classe" is to be taken in the first sense of the term. I welcomed the capital letters for "Revolution" and "Peuple."

It was a compliment, perhaps clumsy, but a compliment!!! : Cheesy: : Cheesy:

These are only cultural conventions that define that such and such a word must be written with a capital letter or not, it is only necessary to compare with other cultures to realize the relativity of writing words in such a way or not. The word god, god, allah, or any other formulation, which does not designate a "proper" noun in the middle of a sentence, does not require a capital letter according to OUR grammar rules

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_des ... n%C3%A7ais

Capitalization based on the nature of the word
[Capital letters are used:
• for proper names of people (Jean Dupont, the Marquis de Sade[*]), institutions (the Comédie-Française), ships (the Tonnant), trademarks and models of objects (the Caravelle, the Coccinelle), places (Berlin, Mont Blanc, Atlantic Ocean, the Tropics), astronomical objects (the Earth, the Milky Way, Mars), periods (the Pliocene, Lent, the Restoration), deified ideas (Fortune, Liberty);
• for nicknames (Jack the Ripper, the Boston Strangler);
• to indicate the particular meaning of a word (state and State, the web and the Web (the web));
• FOR CERTAIN WORDS AS A MARKER OF DEFERENCE (THUS, SOME AUTHORS CAPITALIZE POSSESSIVES AND PERSONAL PRONOUNS RELATING TO GOD[15]);
• for the names of objects studied in scientific terminology;
• to distinguish lexical units consisting of a single letter[16].

[*]Example: the Marquis de Sade.
Marquis indicating a situation, a function is written without a capital letter, Sade being a proper name is given a capital letter. Thus the god of the Judeo-Christian-Muslims (designating a state only: a god among gods) is given a proper name YHWH to distinguish him from other gods as in Greek mythology for example. Or as in politics where the minister of a particular function sees his proper name attached to a law.

Well, eh, oh, it's not going to start again, eh, your capital letter bullshit, damn it, pffff, shit!!!! : Cheesy:

Obviously, these are conventions specific to each culture. However, ours, taught in the secular schools (sic) of the republic (capital letter or not!?) impose these benchmark rules otherwise it's a zero point for the dunce who doesn't care!

- " impose these benchmark rules otherwise it's a zero point " = dictatorship

- " for the dunce who doesn't care! "...for the FREE spirit that is difficult to shape and refuses any finality of "mental illness"

It is a RIGHT to protect one's brain and mind against ANY EXTERNAL terrorist aggression

Being an INDIVIDUAL, with a FREE, non-formattable spirit = anti-conformist label

It's really hard trying to get into other people's heads.
but it will come one day when all brains will be "connected" in symbiosis.
