Attention guys it will have to react a little there ... it is my Monday morning mug!
Far from me the idea of passing for an odious phallocrate (anyway we are rather between guys here ^^) but, AMHA, there are limits in equity and equality that are being franchised and this with impunity ...but above all in the indifference of the French (yes it's of you that I speak) the most total!
I speak, some will have it can be noticed too, of the last campaign of Adopte A guy who literally shocked me: man actually becomes a consumer product for women (the object man what ... what ladies you have certainly suffered, so what is the goal: you want to get revenge?), 1er shock ...
2meme shock: nobody is offended ... (I have seen or read no reviews in the media about it ...)
3this shocking element: this campaign was extremely massive, I would say that more than half of the billboards I saw in Strasbourg displayed it ... one wonders where the budget comes from ... (especially if 'is on a national scale but listed Ardennes I have not seen anything ...)
In short here 2 photos of illustration of this sexist campaign taken in Strasbourg the 14 August 2017.
Then obviously one could argue on the humor of advertising, ok I accept but I am quite sure that the reverse iconography (the woman in the basket) would be attacked in all possible ways (tag, justice, media ...) by I do not know what association of "defense the right "of women ... (moreover the defense of what rights? Do they not have the same rights, at least purely legally speaking in France, as men for decades?)
The reminder and the correspondence is clear, had indeed been the case with the pouch of the artist Saez (destroyed by the media, censored ...).
Photo that was clearly ironic since it accused the consumer society (ah yes it did not please either ...) and wanted to break the image of the woman object ...
In the case of AdopteUnMec, we are purely in a commercial advertising marketing message, it is much more serious ... in my opinion (we are logically more tolerant with artists ...)
Hey what guys, wake up there ... where will we be in 20 years?
I only defend equality, do not deceive yourself in reading this message and I adore women (except the pure and hard feminists whose methods assimilate to fascism and who believe themselves superior to men and still reinforce the inequalities men women ... band of nazes ^ ^) but there there is clearly in this campaign a degradation of the image of the man who does not indign anybody ...
Moreover, one can ask the question if the site AdoptAneMeuf would have been ... simply ... possible? (because also attacked from all sides)
Finally, when I show these photos to a Belgian friend, he is offended like me ...
And you? Dear Friends What do you think? I am completely beside the plate or is it really the company that slips out there?

Re: The sexist campaign of AdopteUnMec! Feminization of our Society?
two things explain the lack of reaction: the French man is not perceived as a minority to defend, so the supporters of political correctness do not give a damn. Simply nothing to gain by denouncing this, politically or sociologically speaking. The other reason is that it flatters a significant section of men to see themselves as "sex" objects. But it might be less flattering after a few generations of exercise ...

Re: The sexist campaign of AdopteUnMec! Feminization of our Society?
Oh yes these are 2 good reasons I had not thought ... reasons for doing nothing *!
Worse than nothing to win, the indignant (euh c'est moi là lol) could lose: since the denunciation could make him pass for a macho ... pffff ...
And yet it is far from being my case ... on the other hand I am anti-feminism, the ultra genre "women are better than men", women must be above men, take revenge for centuries of degradation ... etc etc ... and sorry but I dare say it: if there are big assholes on Earth, there are also big assholes!
We forget it a little fast I find ... by cons, our society, knows much better victimize women than men ...
But look at the number of family separations currently (or a stable family is the foundation of a happy society ...) well when I look around me (family, friends, buddies, acquaintances ...) 80% are from the decision of the woman ... and the man generally has much more difficult to rebound than a woman after a painful separation so who are the victims there? Ah but a man "cannot be the victim of a woman" ... Let's see, we enter into the taboo of society there ... and it is true that psychological violence (and distress) is not visible ...
Here and at home? How does this happen? Do you have personal statistics?
ps: we would still have to explain to me the concept of "female minority" in France ...
* loose band lol

Re: The sexist campaign of AdopteUnMec! Feminization of our Society?
you confuse "good" and "valid" reasons in the eyes of those who should react. I just explained in my opinion why ...
you asked a question, I gave you my feeling. If you want to have a better legibility, you go on the social networks and you denounce this campaign. You'll see pretty quickly if it gets viral or not.

Good, valid ... uh the nuance is weak in my semantics
You are right I will post this on the page econology of the site even if it has nothing to do with economics (but the evolution of society concerns economics ..) ... roooh I will still do friends !!

Re: The sexist campaign of AdopteUnMec! Feminization of our Society?
Well, I'm not very good at Photoshop and the original image was not great ... we still have to find a "caption" to get the message of man object in 10 seconds ...
On the left: "good", "tolerated", "funny", "indifference" ...
Right "not good," unacceptable "," belittling "," offend "...
A sequel of adjective could do it ... suggestions?

Finally some people are indignant anyway: http://www.huffingtonpost.fr/2017/07/29 ... _23055423/
Totally agree!! And it must be a woman who says it ...
There is even a page FB to denounce the campaign: https://www.facebook.com/sexismepublicitaire/ with ... 36 members ... super what big viral ... nan but lol what
All this confirms the inequality of the treatment which I denounced above. I feel a little less lol alone

Audrey Pulvar denounces the sexism of the "AdopteUnMec" logo
"If a man pushed a woman in a cart it would be a scandal."

SEXISM - "Neither men nor women are commodities." Known, in particular, for her fight against sexism, Audrey Pulvar is pushing a new rant on social networks. Target? The ads of the dating site "AdopteUnMec" and its iconic logo of a woman pushing a supermarket cart ... with a man as merchandise.
The journalist, recently president of the Foundation for Nature and Man, rebelled against this form of sexism, launching in particular: "If a man pushed a woman in a cart, that would be scandalous. No less shocking!" "

Re: The sexist campaign of AdopteUnMec! Feminization of our Society?
I think you are confusing consequence and cause. As a system hegemonic by nature, the capitalist economy tends to invest all aspects of human life to bring it back to the "active principle" of that one: commodification. This ad therefore only translates an underlying reality. The precariousness of couple relations also goes completely in this direction: it is linked, both in its formation and in its duration, to the appreciation of comparative advantages, and therefore revocable if the "market" offers more interesting opportunities.
The language of the "son of pub" at least has the merit of offering disturbing shortcuts on the look that we can bring to our society, far from convoluted academic convolutions ...
