Exact, (it was not indicated on the wikipedia page) which could explain the yellow flames...

In this case that explains the yellow fumes. I know the phenomenon well, having observed it many times when I was still a jeweller. The lead literally vanishes.

Yes the lead makes yellow fumes... The question is to know if there was at the beginning or not...what the author of this article seems to say...If it's at the beginning, it's because there was an accelerator...period!

What is certain is that multi-hundred-year-old oak beams do not ignite with a cigarette butt or even a blowtorch (unless you insist... : Mrgreen: )

The author of the article probably does not know anything about it, as for the combustion of the beams, it is probably explained by a departure in heaps of junk accumulated there since life and very dry...

The answer is that there was release of yellow smoke when the hearth reached 500° in places where there was lead. Knowing that the tip of a lit cigarette is between 800 and 900°, you have your answer. : Mrgreen:

First of all, it's not a mosque and the pig is "aram" for Christians, then, do you know many who push the zeal to pass the brush in the attic of this big building? As a result, the Lord is great, but so is junk... 8)
