Yes blah blah plastic...and it's quite expensive per m² (more than 1mm aluminum sheet...)...another thing made in Ukraine? : Lol: : Lol:

Obamot wrote:For the shape at the front, I suggest copying from the existing one, because the companies that manufacture them, put their trailers through a wind tunnel for certification purposes.

The polyester hulls (see photo of a barbot above) allow shapes that I cannot easily do...

Interesting, so you just have to put an L-shaped (?) V-shaped angle iron? There I will join Macro I have doubts that we feel it!

Yes, I saw that during my research... with Barbot et cie...

Except that the more design and aerodynamics it is (although...) the more it is really overpriced (for what it is...)...the debon of your video is 8500€ new : Mrgreen:

On occasion, not (so) better: https://www.leboncoin.fr/recherche?cate ... ue%20debon there is very little discount on the trailers...

The mini caravan is well designed but it's more of a niche than anything else...

There is a commercial version a bit bigger...at 15 - 000€... : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:

Wait I find the best of...

Here is one at 30 k€ off road but not super aerodynamic! : Mrgreen:

It's light, solid and also stainless and does not mark (it breaks on exaggeration : Mrgreen: ). It's work, but also a lot of possibilities. You have plenty of references for example in "and the 40 thieves".

Yes I thought about it but no because I don't really like working (with) this kind of material...except when there is no alternative...

The aluminum in 1 mm will it be fine? In the extreme rigor I can go to 1.5 but in this case I do not do the side walls at least not in full... I will profile the external uprights...

I think there are semi-rigid coatings that could also be suitable... I have to do some research...

And wooden panels (crossed, etc.) with 0,5 aluminum glued on?
You have the external aluminum finish, combined with this kind of “flexible rigidity” of the wood.
If you have to change a panel, the aluminum will have cost you less.
You can make a design with small longitudinal panels at the bottom, where you're most likely to take hits, with large panels higher up.

I even believe that there are wooden panels already covered with a metallic film on top.

Speaking of yawing, you don't even need to do any overtaking or brutal maneuvering for that to happen...look at that, impressive!

I guess it's because of the discharge from the rear wheels of the car?

Yes but you need really very thin panels to bend them as I want...3 or 4 mm big max I presume? I have never worked with such thin panels...

And in the end it may be heavier and more expensive than 1.5 aluminum, right?

I made a first dimensioning: the half ellipse of the yellow can be 85 cm (the length) / 68 cm (= width of the trailer) with a sufficient margin for the 30°... 8) 8) 8)

I have an idea for 2 euros for the sides:

1) You take grooved-crested type flooring. I saw some the other day that go quite high,
2) There are also panels.
3) There are several colors and smart renderings,
4) It resists everything, the float, small impacts, frost, snow, wind... (in synthetic)
5) It is in principle modular blades that fit together.
6) You buy more blades, and in case you have a bug.
7) You only change damaged blades...
8} To mount them, you can stack them vertically between two profiles.
9) It holds with the force of gravity in addition to the bindings.

This is my last prize : Lol:

I found a scrap of 3.5 mm plywood in my garage: it's flexible but not flexible enough to make the desired curvature... : Cry:

There is 2 mm "aviation": https://jr-contreplaque.fr/index.php?id ... er=product at €60 per m² (i.e. €30 per m000 : Shock: )

You don't have to make the front with the same material as the rest, do you...?
