I have to return to the site this Thursday to see the long-term charging current.
My system is structurally made so that the battery is never fully charged for 2 reasons
1) the charger is unable to do so because its intensity tends towards zero at the end
2) the inverter seems to have a residual power of around 50 W (because after a day, my charger was still sending 4A under 12V; on Thursday I will know more about this aspect
Why don't you insert a simple timer upstream of your charger, which would launch the charge for example (I say anything to illustrate) 1h or 2h every 24h?
Of course duration to be calculated and validated according to the no-load consumption of your inverter.
No need for this approach, precisely, quite random. Operation as I have designed it is automatic without complex adjustment, and beforehand resilient.
