Re: The Kitchen Garden Sloth: Gardening without fatigue more than Bio

Re: Wrapped hay

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much! -for having seen what happened to the "excess" corn silage put in the vegetable garden, the flowerbeds,... in the dairy farms where I did internships in the 70s... - on the other hand if you can make a more rigorous observation than my so...

Re: The Kitchen Garden Sloth: Gardening without fatigue more than Bio

thank you to everyone for your "returns" which confirm my point of view: the message on the package is quite absurd! so far I have always practiced in the direction you indicate and I will therefore continue... to save space and time here is how I proceed for my sowing: - all in go...

Re: The Kitchen Garden Sloth: Gardening without fatigue more than Bio

little question for 2 pennies:
I prepare my seeds for future sowing and I read on the package concerning basil: "do not cover the seed, only germinate in light"

I'm a little surprised by these recommendations...and you?

Re: Lazy vegetable garden: do we have to remove the stones?

On the method, how do you remove the large stones from 20-30 cm without turning everything over? no miracle... you have to go there with the spade fork or a manure hook! but I don't "turn over" the earth I only "lift" ..it's only once....! don't worry...

Re: Lazy vegetable garden: do we have to remove the stones?

hello "neighbor", personally the stones from the size of a fist I remove if they are in the first 20-30 cm. below this size I leave because it does not really bother me. I was even able to recover a small area on what was a "gravel path". ...

Re: The Kitchen Garden Sloth: Gardening without fatigue more than Bio

Have you ever had a lift in the fall?? Under some of my feet, I had germinations in the fall... I think there are very important varietal differences. From memory, I believe that a "Bloddy Butcher" (???) fallen to the ground sprouted almost instantly... But otherwise, effec...

Re: The Kitchen Garden Sloth: Gardening without fatigue more than Bio

sowing whole tomatoes works very well. I practiced it several years before my retirement to have "educational" tomatoes for children and the pleasure of a tomato cut in half with basil and olive oil which goes well! everyone was happy... my techn...

Re: The Kitchen Garden Sloth: Gardening without fatigue more than Bio

just a little feedback that confirms what Didier says in his videos, and what he writes about the cold: 1-I succeeded (for the moment) on January 6th in my sowing of red Grenoble and golden spring. thick seedlings, in pots, placed on concrete steps, against the south wall of the house. they are...
