For Parkside adapters, look here:
https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=ba ... ide&page=1
There is already the Parkside at Makita here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3110392
Be careful with the meaning, Makita to Parkside is not the same adapter...

Remundo wrote:the Einhell electric chainsaw looks pretty amazing.
I think that by having 2 4 Ah batteries and 2 others which charge while we work, the autonomy must be unlimited (maybe the guy will get tired...)
what I also like is the blade mounting system with adjustable tension.
The Oregon brand guides are quite famous too.
Yes, that's what the guy in the video I posted above was doing...he was working with 2 * 2 6 Ah...
Yes Oregon I think it's among the best guides/channels in the world...but you'd have to ask Guy "the guy from the woods" (yeah yeah...the guy who drinks is certainly closer to the truth ) what he thinks about it as a great specialist...

Otherwise there are 4Ah “20V” at Action for €23: https://www.action.com/fr-fr/p/3000412/ ... -ax-power/
Now you have to scramble to find the adapters...

Re: “Chinese” electric chainsaws and delimbers: what are they worth?
I make my contribution.
Already having 4 Ryobi One+ batteries for my mower, this morning I found a battery-powered chainsaw from the same brand and compatible with my batteries. RYOBI Ocs1830-0c 18 V battery chainsaw, 30 cm guide
Leroy Merlin offer
I tried it on fairly recalcitrant Troën wood and it does well. You still have to not force it too much, of course you don't have the luxury of a good thermal, but its little sharp blade is effective.
There is the chain tensioning system, like on the Einhell and without tools, I didn't know, but it works really well. Usually you need screwdrivers and scratch nooks and crannies on the side of the chain motor sprocket
Operation is pleasant, no need for hearing protection, little projection, light machine. We could give it to people who are not very physical. But even for a strong guy, it's a relief to carry 3 kg instead of 12... for delimbing, it's a very recommendable machine, but not for felling, not against it. Make small logs up to 15 cm in diameter too.
My father (and I) worked 25 years ago with a Stihl 08
http://oldchainsaw.com/stihl-08s
which with its full tanks weighed 12 kg, but it was a puncture-proof machine, all steel 0 plastic, a beast. Didn't even have a chain lock safety at the front, just a tube to grab...
On the other hand, with an 08, you can lumber a forest and you will be tired long before it does.

Re: “Chinese” electric chainsaws and delimbers: what are they worth?
Glad this inspired at least one here to switch to electric sawing here!! You see I wasn't lying! How much Ah your batteries?
Well I came back from the field, there was a 2 hour clearing...tested the Einhell in the same working conditions as the Chinoiseries (shit according to some slanderers here...)
The piles are growing...little by little...
Time on the ground: 1h45
Autonomy in "human time" approximately 1h30 with 2 4Ah 18V batteries, as a reminder I was at 1h with the yellow one on 1 4Ah battery, YELLOW is therefore more efficient in these working conditions
Pruning a trunk is necessarily done more quickly for each pass than small ones but you have to go back and make at least 3 passes per tree.
The first pass is done blind so not great...
We tend to attack the bark: loss of energy and useless work...
The finish (small branches of 0.5cm in diameter or less that you can't see well when the trunk is on the ground) is impossible or difficult (I put the vertical trunks with the small ones), you have to use the small one...I I had my aide-de-camp for that who worked with BLUE (he doesn't like YELLOW...)
It's MUCH more tiring for me than with YELLOW...you can definitely feel the difference in weight...
In terms of output, it's amazing: around twenty per hour... By pushing hard, I think we can reach 25 fir trees/h max but hardly more... and being HS from HS... as said several times this site is not just cutting...
Battery voltage at the end of work: 16.4 and 16.0V (this is the problem with putting 2 batteries in series: this cuts off the weakest one...)
Residual oil: 50% (the tank is therefore sized for the largest Einhell batteries)
Verdict: for this project, I prefer to work with YELLOW than Einhell...
Otherwise we found 2 surprises on the battlefield...I think it's a wild bee's nest because a wasp's nest isn't the same? For the other I think it's a naughty neighbor who got jumped in the trees...didn't find her panties though!

Re: “Chinese” electric chainsaws and delimbers: what are they worth?
ps: I had put a 4Ah from the yellow one to the blue one, it lasted 1h30 (residual voltage 16.4V) VS 15 min for the original 2Ah batteries (but with a "slightly" less intensive work than when I 'used me...since it was my son's...)

Re: “Chinese” electric chainsaws and delimbers: what are they worth?
So, thank you Guy (you see you're not so useless... ) I ordered 2 * 8Ah on sale at Lidl... €94 for 2 with delivery, difficult to find better and the Bluetooth connected battery function really interested me...
On the other hand, their order summary is ridiculous, if I receive 4 I will tell you...
All that remains is to print and wire the Parkside to Einhell adapter, the 3D model is available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4543309
I analyzed the model (in 3 pieces) it seems to be a quality model...

Come do the job with your pruning hook...
(I have one...on 15 mm and above it won't work...)

pruning knives, like aspirin and masks, are Made in China.
