No: you can vote by calculation which is also much more effective.

For example in the presidential election, the 3 most likely candidates were, according to survey or history, Mélenchon, Macron, Lepen. Ideologically I would have voted for the Renaissance program. My analysis of the facts having convinced me that Macron and his clique do not work for the French but for private interests (and their own interests for the most part), I chose in the interest of France and my children, to vote against him and therefore against an ideology that suits me.

Knowing that Lepen would be in the second round anyway (poll and history), I voted for Mélenchon in the first round, even though his program does not correspond to my ideology. If all the discontents had voted for Mélenchon or Lepen in the first round, rather than by ideology, and therefore for another candidate with no chance of passing, Macron would have been fired in the first round. And I voted for Lepen in the second round, even though their ideology is bad.

Voting by ideology for a candidate who has no chance of passing is a mistake: this is what the French are finally understanding, yet we have been doing this to them for 40 years.

ok for the reasoning, but the bottom line is to see that most of the candidates do not support France... Macron is the paroxysmal example.

It is therefore an execrable situation, even if you can have fun with 5-cushion billiards.

ideology and personal interest are the two legs that allow everyone to move forward
