@decoder_l explains that coding allows you to choose between, for example covid and flu. It sources hospital pricing by showing that putting the patient in the covid box rather than flu brings in €1300 more to the hospital, per stay!

This is the statistical scam: the hospital will obviously choose the “covid” box rather than “flu”: this increases the hospital’s cash flow and therefore allows for better patient care. TIM is absolutely right to check “covid” rather than “flu”.

What @decoder_l explains is that it is enough to create codifications which refer to acts that have chosen to be better remunerated to artificially bias the statistics.

This is what was done there in an outrageous manner, and which allows us to produce the kind of statistics below, where the flu disappears and all other diseases decrease in favor of covid even though the number of deaths in 2020 is equivalent to that of 2015, and remains a year of historically low mortality (a study on hospitalizations would give the same kind of results).

And the fact of only having 38 covid-approved hospitals out of 1500 in France, of prohibiting doctors from treating, just to artificially create saturation, is not bad either. As a reminder, as of May 2020, statistics clearly showed that covid only killed the very fragile.
