Water heater and eco ready at zero rate

by the-rabouin » 09/04/13, 10:10

Hello,

In addition to replacing windows, I am also planning to change the domestic hot water production system, in order to carry out a "package of work" opening the right to the eco-loan at zero rate. I heat myself with wood pellets but I use an electric water heater.

The idea would be to connect a hot water tank to the pellet boiler. Is this project eligible for the zero rate loan?

Thank you for your answers.

CESI interconnection + Pellet boiler

by fabio.gel » 09/04/13, 11:23

Hi the rabbi

I had the same approach as you.
I invested in a CESI Rotex (but there are others) which has 3 internal circuits:
- 1 for in connection with solar collectors
- 1 for domestic water heating
- 1 for additional support (wood, gas ...)

So the investment in a CESI + door and window will give you access to the 0% eco loan, even if it is up to you to connect your tank with your boiler afterwards.

The self-draining Rotex with a system supplying the boiler is a very attractive solution.

Water is used as a thermal buffer and the coil as an instant heat exchanger.

And no more risk of legionella!

I did my energy saving work recently, and I did not apply for the zero rate loan but I got the tax credit and a bonus
It's great that we are increasingly encouraged to save energy thanks to all these aids!
