The house is greenhouse, not that expensive, € 80 000 years ago and not that fragile: safety glass.
I fear the scorching summers in France.
The average temperature in Stockholm in January is -3 ° C (27 ° F). For Marie Granmar and Charles Sacilotto, it can get much warmer thanks to the greenhouse that covers their house. “For example, at the end of January, it can be -2 ° C outside and it can be 15 to 20 ° C upstairs,” explains Sacilotto.
He was inspired to build a house in a greenhouse thanks to his relationship with architect Bengt Warne who started designing the first Naturhus (House of Nature) in 1974 *.
Originally, Sacilotto was looking for a vacant lot to build a brand new Naturhus, but eventually settled in an old summer house on the Stockholm archipelago.
Using Warne's design, he covered the little summerhouse, plus an addition, in 4mm glass. The footprint of the greenhouse is almost double that of the house, leaving plenty of room for an enveloping garden, and as inside the bubble it is a Mediterranean climate, the couple now cultivate atypical products for the Sweden (ex: figs, tomatoes, cucumbers).
The favorite place is the glass covered roof terrace. Since there is no longer a need for a roof, the couple have removed it and now have plenty of space to sunbathe, read or play with their son on swings and bikes.
The greenhouse is not the only novelty of the Granmar-Sacilotto house. They are also completely independent of the city sewers. Built by Sacilotto - an engineer by training - the sewage system begins with a urine-separating toilet and uses centrifuges, cisterns, grow beds and garden ponds to filter water and compost leftovers .

* In the video, Granmar mentions the influence of architect Bengt Warne in the 1990s since this is the date he reached a wider audience with the release of his book.http://faircompanies.com/videos/view/...

We obviously have "better things to do than clean your windows", if only to work to pay for the robot cleaner and the multitude of gadgets that are related to it ... : Mrgreen:

And what are you doing while he's washing? Are you waiting? : Cheesy: So you gain weight ...

While by hand, a blow of pschitt pschitt and the raclette and it is clean and more quickly clean ...

So there is ordeal in both cases, with the robot you are just “immobilized” longer ...
And then you have to reload it with product, so go get it and put it back where it was ... blah.

It is not “living with one's time” but rather “living to waste one's time” : Mrgreen: and hello dependence (technical)

But either, the idea of the robot is to dig, or to build something above to protect the greenhouse. : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy:

You just have to cross the street to have the means to pay for this kind of gadget. That said, the guy who can afford a house encapsulated in a greenhouse can very well afford this kind of robot, otherwise it's just a skid drag! : Mrgreen:
More seriously, if this kind of thing works, it is this kind of construction that can legitimize its existence, unless you have a cleaning company (black) employing anorexic dwarves or hungry children nearby. . : Wink:

Ps: What about the solidity of such a construction under a hailstorm with hailstones as big as pétanque balls?

If no mistake, strangely the price of the greenhouse house seemed affordable but the breakage definitely breaks this beautiful dream, especially with the unpredictable climatic events that we are promised, it is not a good idea. : roll:

220 m² at 1500 € / m², 330 € all the same.

It's in the nails in fact
The price of a “turnkey” passive house amounts, according to the lowest estimate, to € 1 per m² (300). Depending on the costs charged on the builders' quotes, your project may amount to € 1 per m². The overall average is around € 3 per m² (000). https://www.ootravaux.fr/construction-r ... ssive.html
