Following a problem a priori aqueous corrosion on a gutter, I create this subject "memory aid" on the electrochemical couples of metals which can "eat each other" ...

What is aqueous corrosion or galvanic corrosion?

According to this .pdf summary on galvanic corrosion

According to wiki:

Corrosion refers to the deterioration of a manufactured object by the environment. The best-known examples are the chemical alterations of metals in water - with or without oxygen - such as the rusting of iron and steel, or the formation of verdigris on copper and its alloys (bronze, brass). These chemical alterations are grouped together under the term aqueous corrosion. They are due to effects of several kinds: dissolution of metals in water, appearance of electrochemical cells, existence of concentration gradients, differential aeration or pitting. Overall, aqueous corrosion is a phenomenon with a very significant economic impact, requiring a wide variety of means of protecting metals. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corrosion_aqueuse
