If the economy is the engine of any change, instead of complaining of this state of affairs, should rather think to take advantage, right?
Like everyone else, it hurts my ass to spend 1.18 € for a litron of diesel. Especially since this state of meeeeerde gets sugar at 70% in passing.
So, yes, the rise in oil has largely contributed to my launching the search for alternative solutions to oil.
So yes, I think we need to take advantage of this increase to encourage people to ride / behave differently.
Relying on good will and idyllic ideals to reform a society is largely utopian.
It reminds me of a sentence of a scientist who studied the biodiversity of Madagascar:
Before, we said we had to protect nature, because it was beautiful.
It did not work.
Afterwards, we said we had to protect nature, because it was about our survival.
It still did not work.
Now, we say that protecting nature can report Something.
And there, it starts to interest people.
So why not use the natural greed of our wonderful society to make things happen?
