Belgacom crook, 45% increase !!

by Christophe » 03/07/08, 16:44

Today we receive a very "nice" letter from Belgacom our telephone operator.

I quote:

"We see each other FORCED * to adapt the price of the Discovery Line option from 1/08/08. The current subscription fee of 5.66 € / month will be increased to 8.22 € / month Excluding VAT. "

Hell it’s 45% increase overnight !!!!!!! and this just to have the tone ....

I plan to contact Test Achat (the equivalent of UFC Que Choisir).

The other Belgians of forum have they also seen their rates "forced to be increased" in the same way ??

In addition, for information, we pay € 45 excluding tax per month for ADSL flanged at 1Mbit! I'm going to yell at customer service like this is going to let me off!

* Constrained by whom? Your shareholders or China and India?

I am also disgusted with the increase in the discovery line at belgacom.
But anyway for the past few months everything has increased at belgacom: telephone subscriptions, adsl, etc.
Welcome to Belgium, the only country where telecom services do not wage price wars and where prices do not drop.
It's stupid anyway because I have been with edpnet for more than 2 years and for 29 € and a few I have better than the adsl go at 42 €. But the competitors do not have enough customers with us to scare Belgacom, and then a good part of Belgacon .. OUPS ... is part of the state so we will never do anything about their anti-competitive practice.
